The UFC was warned about the booking of rising star Paddy Pimblett against Arman Tsarukyan then.
Talk about a fight between Tsarukyan and Pimblett intensively in April after the last victory of the last in his fast climb on the lightweight ladder in the leading promotion of MMA.
Pimblett dominated Michael Chandler on UFC 314 in Miami and put him via TKO in round three of their pay-per-view Co-Main event.
The result pushed 'The Baddy' into no. 8 in the ranking and probably left him a guaranteed collision against a top five opponent next time.
But although a growing feud with top candidate Tsarukyan who seems to have placed matchup as the leading option, one legend of the sport does not think logically for the UFC.

Chael Sonnen warns UFC against eliminating a title -Uitdager with Arman Tsarukyan vs Paddy Pimblett Booking
Former middleweight and light heavyweight UFC title Challenger Chael Sonnen recently responded to the potential collision between Tsarukyan and Pimblett during a video uploaded to his YouTube channel.
After Tsarukyan had withdrawn from UFC 311 in the short term and cost him a title shot, the Armenian lightweight Pimblett sees the man to bring him back to the gold.
Sonnen, however, used an example from his own career to explain why Dana White and the UFC should be against the matchup in the current circumstances that flourish.
“Tsarukyan wants to fight against Paddy 'The Baddy'. I have to tell you, I am in that fight in five different ways, but I have one problem with it.
“Paddy is meteoric turnout … but that's actually my problem,” Sonnen continued. “You have a man who can fight for a title and he can sell an arena and he can win the title … The same applies to Tsarukyan.
“You have put them together – and I came across this problem myself … I versus Lyoto Machida … they crushed it, and the reason they picked it is Dana [White] and Lorenzo [Fertitta] Speaked and said: 'Hey, you have two boys who can do both main event for titles. You place them together, you eliminate a competition. '
“I feel that we are being confronted for that now. Tsarukyan is too good to put with paddy, that's how I feel. Paddy is too good to put Tsarukyan, that's how I feel.”
Arman Tsarukyan's interesting reason to want to fight Paddy Pimblett
After a word war on social media and during interviews, the scene was for their rivalry, Tsarukyan recently expanded with his strong desire to share the cage with the charismatic scouser.
More than just his title ambitions on 155 pounds, 'Akhalkalakets' wants to expand its fan base, especially when it comes to the United Kingdom.
“Maybe he wants to fight towards the end of this year, but I want to fight this summer and the end of this year,” Tsarukyan told Red Corner MMA.
“I will take that because he has a big name, he just beats Michael Chandler, and he has a six or seven [fight] Win Streak.
“He is never lost in the UFC. It makes sense to come back and get more fans from the UK,” Tsarukyan added.
Whether the UFC Tsarukyan will grant its wish and compile the fight whether it agrees with the assessment of Sunen can still be seen.
