It seemed likely that Barcelona would be forced to enter into talks with Juventus for centre-back Ronald Araujo, but sporting director Deco appears to have turned the situation around after talks with the Uruguayan defender.
According to MD, Araujo entered into talks with Deco on Tuesday evening with the intention of leaving Barcelona for Juventus in the January transfer window after a year of stalled contract talks. However, the Brazilian-Portuguese has managed to convince him that it is best to stay at Barcelona.
