Dana White and the UFC plans for a specific weekend in September have already undergone many changes.
Last year's Noche UFC was a crowned spectacle on Sphere, but with the 2025 episode the MMA leader would finally set up this celebration of Mexico in the country itself.
In the same weekend, TKO boxing was set to launch with Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford who took place the day before at the Allegiant Stadium of Las Vegas.
This all changed when Turki Alalshikh announced that Canelo vs Crawford was moving to September 13, which means that it will now clash with UFC 320 in Mexico.
White and TKO no longer seem to be involved in the boxing super fight, but that does not mean that it will be a smooth build to fight the night now that they have only one event to focus on.
We have confirmed that the promoter for Canelo V Crawford Sela will be for the Riyadh season. The broadcaster that we have not yet decided, but the date is Saturday 13 September. More details soon … 🥊🔥

Arena Guadalajara cancels shows up to and including 4 September with delays that may affect UFC 320
UFC 320 On September 13, the promotion would see at his first event in the new Arena Guadalajara, but this may not be the case.
The second largest arena in Mexico was originally open to open last year, but various building delays have considerably postponed the opening of the new location.
It was initially pushed back to February, but the last update suggests that it can take a few months until the Arena is ready to organize events.
A message about the social media account of the Arena has announced that various planned events have been postponed with one of the data removed from the schedule that was on 4 September.
This suggests that at the moment the location is not expected to be ready to a little more than a week from UFC 320, but with this completion date continuously pushed back, this is a big risk.
The last different events of the promotion in Mexico took place in Arena CDMX in Mexico City, which is not an ideal destination for sporting events due to the considerable height.
Arena CDMX has already been booked before September 13 with the Mexican musician Ramón Ayala performing on his 'La Historia de Un Final' Farewell Tour.
The UFC was aware of the building delays when they announced UFC 320
The UFC is well aware of the building delays around Arena Guadalajara, but it was not considered a great concern.
Rodrigo del Campo Gonzalez asked UFC director David Shaw to the delays shortly after the event was announced during the last trip of the promotion to Mexico.
“We have had constant contact with them, enough to announce tonight. If we didn't have faith, we wouldn't announce the fight.”
This was my question in March to David Shaw on the day they announced Guadalajara. They didn't like it, but I asked because we know the owners and promoters of Arena Guadalajara and we saw this one miles away. pic.twitter.com/S38TXMXEGE https://t.co/BSKROZO38W
