Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has been loaned out to AC Milan for the rest of the season.
Milan confirmed in a statement that they also have an option to buy the England right-back, with Sky Italy saying Walker would cost around €5 million.
The 34-year-old has made a total of 319 appearances for City and last played in the 4-1 win over West Ham in the Premier League on January 4.
Walker was left out of City's squad for the 8–0 defeat to Salford City in the FA Cup third round a week later, with boss Pep Guardiola saying the defender had asked to explore the possibilities of playing abroad .
Walker, who joined City from Tottenham in 2017, has 18 months left on his contract with the Premier League champions after signing a three-year extension in 2023.
He played a role in all six of City's title wins under Guardiola but leaves amid poor results for the Citizens, who are in danger of an early Champions League exit after Wednesday's collapse in a 4-2 defeat at Paris Saint -Germain.
.@kylewalker2 is on loan to AC Milan until the end of the 2024/25 season, subject to international clearance.
Good luck, Kyle!

City are in fifth place in the Premier League, twelve points behind leaders Liverpool, who still have a game in hand.
Walker has 93 caps for England and was the only Three Lions player to be named in the Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament after playing every minute in Germany, where they finished second to Spain.
Walker's departure is the latest move involving City in a busy January window.
They signed Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday after bringing in Brazilian teenager Vitor Reis and Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov.
