Man City could sign dream De Bruyne replacement in shock swap deal

Manchester City hopes to bring top white Florian Wirtz to Etihad this summer – and could use James McATEE to do it.

City starts a rebuilding under Pep Guardiola after their turbulent season saw them fall away from the Premier League title race and they suffer a number of harmful results. They were beaten 2-0 in Liverpool on Sunday and are 20 points behind the League leaders.

The club is approaching a intersection moment and no fewer than eight of their aging players can be broken this summer, including Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker.

City splashed around £ 180 million on newcomers in January, with Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Victor Reis who all participate while Chiefs are watching exciting young talent. They are the future of the club, according to Guardiola.

They will probably be active again in the summer in an attempt to catapult themselves back in the title race after they have viewed Liverpool this period and Bayer Leverkusen and Germany Ace Wirtz has emerged as their primary target.

Wirtz is seen as the perfect Like -For -Like replacement for De Bruyne – whose deal is running this summer – after he has shown his excellent creative displays in the middle of the park under Leverkusen Xabi Alonso.

He has 15 goals and 11 assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga side to confirm his name as one of Europe's most prestigious talents, where the city is probably at the front of the row.

City Star McATee is also a target for Leverkusen this summer. They missed a loan movement in January and they keep an eye on the 22-year-old. Their interest can be enormously important for the hope of the city to get a deal for Wirtz about the line with a potential Swap deal that works for both parties.

But it would not be a swap if in the same deal – for PSR purposes it would be completed as two separate transactions – that would further improve the city's ability to spend this summer, given the money from the Mcatee exit on their Balance would draw.

McATEE can create the chance of more regular football after he has received his big break in the Etihad. The 22-year-old has not yet started a Premier League match, but has still managed six goals in all competitions.

He has already seen Cole Palmer deserted City and become a star in Chelsea, while he has also seen young English talent such as Jude Bellingham, Jadon Sancho and Jamie Gittens, successfully in the Bundesliga.
