The goalkeeper Edererson of Manchester City was made by Ally McCoist for his bad mistake to allow the winner of Callum Hudson-Odoi to crawl indoors at his Near Post in their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.
This season, Ederson was fired at various points about his performances between the sticks in the middle of the turbulent campaign of the city, after he had passed Stefan Ortega for Stefan Ortega earlier in December.
And the Brazilian – who was once seen as one of the world's best keepers – risked the wrath of Guardiola again after he was too easily defeated by Hudson -odoi. It turned out to be the only goal of the game and helped Forest to go four points from their rivals, with City now hung on a place in the Champions League.
The former Chelsea wing player had the freedom of the urban -ground field to run at left back Josko Gvardiol, who stood his ground and did not take a challenge, before he was an attempted goal – who saw Edererson fly by his hand and in the net.
And McCoist was especially critical about the 31-year-old after the embarrassing moment, in which the former Rangers boss stated that he “cannot be defeated there”.
“I'm not sure if the keeper is covering himself there in glory,” he said on a comment obligation for TNT sports. “Callum Hudson-Odoi attacks the entire back and gets the finish in the nearby pole. The keeper cannot be defeated there.”
Some fans remained stunned by the blunder on social media, because they said that his keepers was “terrible” and that city would not be able to move forward as a club until he was sold.
One wrote: “Ederson, you can't be defeated in the nearby post like that FFS,” As a second user wrote: “The club cannot progress until Ederson has been replaced. Stop him in your dream XI for next season.”
A third fan added: “The type of goal that you simply cannot admit as a 'keeper. Stunning salvation earlier in half by Ederson, but that is terrible. Should have been a simple save.”
Others compared him with his Brazilian countryman Alisson and insisted that the mistake showed that the Liverpol goalkeeper was the superior Shot stopper.
“Some people think that Ederson is better than Alisson. Beculating,” wrote a supporter, while another message said, “Difference between Alisson and Nummeron there.”
