Brighton in talks with Nantes over Kelly Gago signing

According to a report from L'Équipe, Brighton and Hove Albion are in talks with Arkema Premier League club FC Nantes over the signing of French international Kelly Gago (25).

Gago only joined Nantes this summer after shining in Italy at UC Sampdoria and then Parma. Her form there earned her a move to France, where she joined Nantes and signed a one-year contract with the Breton side, making her appearance in the Arkema Premier League for the first time in their history this season.

Her performances at Les Canaris recently earned her a call-up to the French national team. In two games for Les Bleues, Gago was on goal, which resulted in a friendly win over Switzerland. She is now attracting interest from Brighton and Hove Albion and according to L'Équipe, transfer talks have begun between the two parties. These talks regarding the transfer of the France international are still ongoing.
