Manchester City will strive to have their team ready for the next season for the club World Cup, says chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
The new look, 32-team Club World Cup starts on June 14, where Man City starts their campaign four days later against Wydad AC of Morocco.
The Pep Guardiola team did not win a big trophy this season, lost in the FA Cup final of Crystal Palace and finished third in the Premier League, but this is an opportunity to end their campaign on a high.
City previously made four additives to the team in January when they signed Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.
But with an important player who leaves in Kevin De Bruyne, and specialization that mounts about the future of Jack Grealish, says Al Mubarak that things in the summer window will be “just as fast” as the city will get deals over the line for the tournament.
“We feel very good about these players,” said Al Mubarak.
“That is four players in January. And that gives you an idea of ​​what is coming this summer, because this summer we will continue with the needs of the club.

City's collision with Wydad On June 18 is followed by group matches against Al Ain on June 23 and Juventus on 26 June.
