Claudio Echeverri scored the first goal of his career in Manchester City on Sunday evening by nailing a brilliant free kick against Al Ain.
The 19-year-old who only his third performance for the city made the net in the 27th minute after a £ 12.5 million move from the river plate in January 2024 when he focused a dipping attempt over a five-man defensive wall from 21 Yards.
Al Ain's keeper was unmoved and fans on social media were quickly an excellent strike.
“What a player we signed,” created an excited city supporter.
Another called it an 'insane free-kick', while a third fan stated: 'Claudio Echeverri has arrived'.
In the meantime, several fans on X (formerly Twitter) Echeverri's Maiden City goal with an iconic free kick scored by France-legend Zinedine Zidane against England on Euro 2004.
