Manchester United has changed the name of a player on the club's official website and after his family has made a requirement.
Red Duivel Wonderkid Chido Obi asked earlier this year to drop the 'Martin' from his name – and now the signing of Patrick Dorgu has changed in January in Patrick Chinazaekere Dorgu on official club platforms.
Dorgu, 20, completed his £ 29.4 million relocation of the Serie A -Leecce in January and has since played six times under Ruben Amorim in all competitions prior to the international break.
The left back stars most recently for Denmark during the 5-2 triumph of Portugal about the Danes in the quarterfinals of the Nations League, and helps the tap-in of Christian Eriksen during the defeat.
The full name of Dorgu has now been added to his profile on the Manchester United website, as well as on teamsheets and squadron lists at the back of the United Review program.
According to Manchester Evening News, the club has confirmed that the Dorgu family has requested the change in respect for the heritage and the religion of DANE.
The parents of Dorgu are from Nigeria and Chinazaekpeere translates roughly from Igbo as 'God answers prayers'.
In an article written by Manchester United on Monday morning with details about the journey from Dorgu to Old Trafford, the club briefly opened his family and heritage.
“Patrick Chinazaekere Dorgu is just a matter of weeks a Manchester United player, but the early signs are encouraging,” the article began.
'One of the four children, Patrick – who has a Christian middle name – is surrounded by a family that is religious but also embedded in sports, with two brothers who are football players and a sister who plays handball.
“Admittedly, a fan of Chelsea as a boy whose childhood idol was Eden Hazard, Patrick grew up in the Husum district of Copenhagen to Nigerian parents who have always supported and encouraged the training of their children.”
The Wing-Back passed a debut in the home base of Manchester United last month, with Ipswich set a goal with an awkward error before he received a red card for a reckless tackle on Omari Hutchinson.
The Blushes of Dorgu were spared when Manchester United is back to win 3-2 at Old Trafford, but he was forced to serve a ban from three games in the Premier League.
After he has now completed his prohibition, the former Serie A-star will be available for United after the international break when Amorim's side is standing against the high-flying Nottingham Forest in the city area in the city area on 1 April.
United is 13th in the Premier League after another turbulent season in Old Trafford, but four games are unbeaten in the competition after beating Leicester and Ipswich and drawing to Everton and Arsenal.
All hope of qualifying for Europe next season is probably based on their success in the Europa League, with the first and second stage of a huge quarter -final against Lyon planned for next month.
