Man United abandon £10m documentary due to financial woes and internal tensions

On July 13 – according to the renowned UK Outlet United in Focus, Manchester United deleted plans for a documentary of £ 10 million in the midst of financial problems and the assembly of internal tensions.

The report states that since Ineos has taken control of the club, the finances of United Balancing have been their top priority. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has repeatedly discussed the financial problems of United, even warning that the club could be bankrupt by the end of 2025. Rettered cost-saving measures-including mass dismissals at Old Trafford and Carrington are the norm, while the battle on the field has only worsened the situation.

Although the collection of funds remains an urgent care for Ineos, manager Rúben Amorim recently started to stop the production of a club documentary.

It is understood that United recently rejected an “All Or Nothing” series in Amazon style worth more than £ 10 million after Amorim had asked the club to withdraw from negotiations.

Football financing expert Kieran Maguire supported Amorim's decision, suggesting that United may have avoided considerable problems. He noted that the club has already increased a similar amount by their Asian tour for the season and said that the Hardline Management of Ineos can stretch relationships within the club:

“If cameras caught people who look miserable at Carrington, it would not be a good appearance. I find this fascinating because Ineos is usually all about income maximization – I had thought they would take the £ 10 million, as long as they had a fair degree of editorial control.
