Jacey Carrick, son of Man United Legend Michael, took another step in his budding career when he led the Club's Under 16 team in a tour match.
Carrick JNR has recently received rave reviews for his performances for the club's youth teams, who often came alongside the son of Wayne Rooney Kai.
The couple was impressed by the recent supercupni where both Wayne and Michael were watching – and Jacey was then selected in the Squad of United for an Academy visit to Hong Kong.
The journey, which is part of United's partnership with the Hong Kong Jockey Club, sees United's Under 16 team completing cultural and football exchange program for a week as part of the JC Youth Football Academy Summit.
Two competitions were organized for the Tour and in the first game on Friday against a Hong Kong Premier Youth League select side, Carrick received the bracelet from the captain.
In addition to the opposite captain and civil servants, the united young person posed prior to the start in a photo that quickly went viral on social media.
The match was a dramatic encounter, with United who forced fines after fought back from 3-1 in injury time to pull 3-3.
The Red Devils then came as a victor with 4-3 on the spots that caused jubilant scenes on the full-time whistle.
United will now take on the Hong Kong, China under 16 representative team on Sunday.
Prior to the journey, United's Academy Director Nick Cox opened how useful it is for the young people of the club.
“The Academy Summit in Hong Kong remains one of our most exciting and valuable international experiences every year,” he told the club's website.
'It remains a striking opportunity for both our players and the staff to grow through a diverse mix of competitive luminaires, high-quality training, fan interaction and cultural exploration.
“These experiences have an important role in shaping well -rounded individuals, both on and outside the field.”
Carrick's exploits come after his Peer Kai Rooney had bumped three age levels to make his debut for United's Under 19 Side at the age of 15 -last week.
During the collision, which was the beginning of the Mladen Ramljak tournos campaign of the club in Croatia, United achieved a heavily fought 1-0 win over Rapid Vienna.
The 15-year-old attacker, who got stuck from United's Under-16s, played against opponents up to four years older during the game.
Kai, who can play as a no. 9 or from Breed, also seen in addition to some of the most promising youth players from the club-including the 14-year-old striker JJ Gabriel, the sensation sponsored by Nike with the nickname 'Kid Messi'.
In the meantime, Rooney SNR said about his son after the aforementioned Supercupni Tournament: 'He just plays, that's what he has always done.
“It is unfair to expect too much – he is only 15. But he treats the pressure of his last name very well.”
Kai joined the United Academy in 2020 and was steadily advanced by the age groups.
His playing style has made inevitable comparisons with his father, with coaches who praise his movement, finish and the ability to find space in the box.
