The twin sons of a legend of Manchester United both did a captain of a captain and led their respective countries during the international break.
After ending their worst stats on a Premier League season, United has had a considerable form of form in recent weeks, with the side of Ruben Amorim unbeaten in their last four league outings.
So although the recent international break was perhaps little more than an unwanted distraction for some of the coaching staff at Carrington, one in particular will keep an eye on one.
Five-time Prime Minister League winner and current United First Team coach Darren Fletcher had a proud moment because both twin sons were called at the level of youth.
Tyler Fletcher supplied Scotland's U19S against Poland on Saturday, following the footsteps of his father with the Tartan army.
Although the opportunity has undoubtedly been a special one for the entire Fletcher family, the result left a lot to be desired because Scotland was beaten 4-1 in a friendly one.
His brother Jack – who is mentioned on the bench this season for United in the Premier League – led England under the age of 18 instead, with the young lions securing a 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic.
The fast-growing prospects were born in Manchester during Darren's 13-year-old Stint as a player at United.
After they had demonstrated early promise, they arrived at the Manchester City Academy and spent almost a decade on the blue side of the city before signing a combined reimbursement of £ 1.25 million in July 2023.
Both Tyler and Jack initially represented the country of their birth at international level, before the first chose to change Trouw to Scotland in October 2023.
Darren appeared 80 performances for Scotland during his gaming career and is currently in fifth place in the most covered list of Scotland.
