Man United reject Napoli’s approaches for Garnacho, but player open to move.

Manchester United continue to reject approaches from Napoli for Alejandro Garnacho, but Chelsea have also made early signals.

Chelsea have added Garnacho and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund to a list of potential signings this month or the summer, while a move for Kobbie Mainoo remains a possibility, according to Mail Sport sources.

Nothing has progressed while United claim Garnacho is a valuable team member and are not actively looking to sell now.

As it stands, no potential suitors have met the Premier League giants' demands for the Argentina international, according to Mail Sport sources.

However, Napoli are not thought to have officially walked away from a deal; It is believed that the player would be open to a move, with the cost of a deal being the stumbling block.

While Antonio Conte's side – who saw Khvicha Kvaratskhelia join Paris Saint-Germain on Friday evening – are interested in Garnacho, they have also kept tabs on Karim Adeyemi at Borussia Dortmund and Lille's Edon Zhegrova.

Marcus Rashford was also brought into the side, although Borussia Dortmund are believed to be favorites to land the England forward.

One of the concerns that seems to plague United striker candidates is the player's attitude and professionalism.

While most recognize that there is a lot of potential in Garnacho, he has struggled to hold down a regular place in Ruben Amorim's starting XI since being left out of the Manchester derby.

Mail Sport sources can confirm that several clubs interested in signing Garnacho are not fully convinced they will get value for money if they pay the £65m asking price.

Clubs are also willing to see what United can get for a deal involving Rashford before re-evaluating their approach.

United will likely have to sell in the current window before considering any upcoming transfers, but depending on what they receive for Rashford, there could be some wiggle room in further deals for the likes of Garnacho.
