Manchester United Defender Diogo Dalot and his bride Claudia Lopes danced the night after a lush wedding in southern Portugal.
In a popular period for footballer marriages, the Red Devils star De Knoop and his partner in the beautiful Palace of Queluz in the Portuguese Riviera on Saturday evening.
Although none of his club or international colleagues were seen a series of Instagram stories that were uploaded to the social media accounts of the couple, the opportunity was nevertheless characterized by jubilant guests who shared in the loving spirit of the night.
In one of the clips that was taken later in the night, Dalot could be seen on the stage with Portuguese musicians Richie Campbell and Plutonio. While in another, he and Lopes went onto the dance floor with the defender who showed his striking movements.
Dalot, who came to the Old Trafford Club in 2018, and Lopes has been together since 2020. Lopes even joined him in Italy when he spent a year on loan with AC Milan during the 2020-21 season.
The couple announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Clara at the end of last year.
In addition to the festivities later in the night, the two also shared a heart -warming moment while they delivered their vowels.
The radiant smile could not be swept from the faces of the happy couple while they saved the love of all their guests present.
The special event will undoubtedly have been a welcome distraction for the United Defender after a miserable season for his club.
Dalot has been a permanent starter among his countryman Ruben Amorim, who came to the club in November and provided the worst Premier League campaign of the Red Devils ever.
Amorim came under enormous pressure after the final defeat of the Europa League by Tottenham, with some who called him to be rejected in the track after just six months. But Dalot supported the boss who shown the confidence in him and insisted that he is the right man to help United move forward.
“I am 100 percent sure he is the right man for us because I see it every day, the standards he has, what he demands from us, the view he has for the club, for the players, for the coaching staff,” he said.
'Many changes happen at the same time, but in the end it will be what we do on the field. We must take responsibility of that.
'None of us goes to the field and tries to get results. So this season it was clearly a way of how this club should be and the way this club deserves.
“We have to take responsibility on that and this time we will be gone.”
Amorim will remain in charge this summer and leads a recruitment drive that he will hope to equip him better to compete in the next term.
Dalot, which has made at least 50 performances in each of the last two seasons, is expected to continue to prevent the next term of the Red Devils, with additions in the attacking areas that are seen as priorities of this window.
