Patrick Dorgu owes his new teammate Harry Maguire a drink.
And while they are at the bar, Andre Onana should probably also buy a few for the English defender.
Maguire was the match winner of Manchester United for a second straight home competition nod in the decisive goal just after the break.
But that only came after Dorgu and Onana had done their utmost to keep Ipswich in the game during a disastrous first half.
The new full-back of £ 25 million handed Jaden Philogene an opening goal on a plate after an early mix with his goalkeeper.
And to worse his misery during his first Prem Start at Old Trafford, De Dane received a red card just before half-time for an X-rated tackle on Omar Hutchinson.
Minutes later Onana was rooted on the spot when Philogene's Kruisschot dripped in the box past him in the corner to catch the game.
In the end it didn't matter, because – just as he did in the FA Cup earlier this month – Maguire used his head to save from United.
But Ruben Amorim has to wonder why this team should do everything in the difficult way.
Even according to the standards of this nightmare season, it was a shock of a start of United.

The tractor boys scored for the last time in Old Trafford in 1992, but they were given a goal to be wrapped on a plate within four minutes and on a plate.
There was absolutely no danger when Dorgu looked at Shepherd a hopeful ball back to his keeper.
But the Dane never looked and he pushed his back pass past the helpless Onana.
Jaden Philogene – who had applied more in hope than the expectation after the ball – could not believe his happiness when he walked it in an empty net.
The two united players looked at each other accusingly – but it was difficult to blame Onana for this one.
It was the easiest goal to score the £ 20 million from Aston Villa ever.
And what a boost for Kieran McKenna on his return to Old Trafford.
The Ipswich boss spent five years in different roles on the coaching staff and was well considered – before he was in charge of Portman Road in December 2021.
Since they have lost seven of their 13 league matches at home this season, you could forgive the house faithfully to fear the worst.
Yet United showed a spirit by fighting back with Alex Palmer who made a flying salvation to deny Maguire an equalizer.
In the end, the Red Devils needed their own handy hand to get level.
Bruno Fernandes shot a curly free kick in a crowd of players and city skipper Sam Morsy nodded in his own net.
Four minutes later they had played the game on his head when Fernades sent over a corner that was met by Maguire.
His header was saved by Palmer, who also pushed the rebound from Diogo Dalot, but Matthijs de Ligt was present to fire the loose ball in the roof of the net for his first goal in Old Trafford.
The keeper who arrived from West Brom in the transfer window was able to count himself bad luck, but at least he kept his team in by saving Dorgu minutes later.
It seemed that it would be simple from there, because Ipswich had difficulty staying in the game.
But nowadays nothing is easy for United.
Dorgu's challenge on Omar Hutchinson on the touchline at the dug-outs looked filthy, but was not even considered a yellow card by Ref Darren England.
However, the VAR was told to take another look and the more he looked, the clearer it became that it was a clear red.
The first Prem Game of £ 25 million January in Old Trafford would have been nothing, if not moved. Not someone will tell the grandchildren.
Amorim did a quick repeat – threw Noussair Mazrouai for Alejandro Garnacho – and they still composed herself when the visitors equalized.
It was again a Pantomime target and the hopeful ball of Philogene in the box, everyone – including Liam Delap – and Onana escaped while it rolled into the corner.
What should the United boss have thought while he went back to the dressing room during the break? Again, his team had hit the self -destruction button.
However, it was clear that he got something good when his team started the second half in determined mood and their lead recovered within a few minutes after the restart.
Again – for the sixth goal successively – it came from a Fernandes set while the skipper curled over a corner.
Maguire rose above Philogene and planted his downward header past Palmer's desperate dive.
Ipswich had enough time to find a way again, but was limited to long distance efforts with Jack Taylor who makes an attempt wide.
Another promising moment saw the low cross of Jens Cajustste just Philogenee avoiding who was hunting for a hat trick.
But – believe it or not – although it was a man, United came through the second half without too many fears, to the great enlightenment of the Old Trafford Faithful.
There were more than enough of those in the first half.
