Man Utd 4-0 Liverpool: Four scorers shine as Skinner’s side thrash WSL rivals

Manchester United recorded a comfortable 4-0 win over injury-hit Liverpool to move up to third place in the Women's Super League.

Marc Skinner's side condemned the exhausted visitors to a third defeat in a row and were unusually clinical in front of goal. He scored four times through four different goalscorers, from six shots on target.

It is the first time since March that United have scored four goals in a league match and the largest margin of victory in more than a year.

A quick double from Elisabeth Terland and Leah Galton, who scored 80 seconds apart, set the hosts on course for their fifth win of the campaign, before second-half goals from Dominique Janssen and substitute Melvine Malard sealed the deal.
