Manchester United has launched their new training kit prior to the new Premier League season – but has had a financial hit.
The low season often offers clubs the opportunity to launch new kits prior to the next campaign, in which teams often attract at least three new strips in an attempt to sell shirts to fans.
However, the majority of the parties will also launch a training kit, which teams will see carrying during their preparation for competitions – and also offers a new chance of financial gain.
In terms of sponsorship, one brand often sponsors the play kits and the other the training kit. However, that is not the case for United.
The club worked together with Blockchain company Tezos, which was worth around £ 24 million a year. However, that ended at the end of June.
And on Tuesday the club launched their new training kit without a new sponsor – which means that they are currently missing a large part of the income that may not be filled quickly.
According to Manchester Evening News, United Sources had indicated that a new sponsor of the training kit would be agreed shortly after the Tezos deal had ended, but the new shirt was launched without.
United shared a series of photos of players in the new comic and other variations such as jackets and jackets, including Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Leny Yoro.
Alejandro Garnacho also played in the promotion buttons, even though they were essentially placed on the transfer list and linked to a move.
Shortly after the sponsorship agreement of Marriott International with United also ended – with the company, considered the largest in the world in terms of the hotel industry – that chooses not to renew the contract that had been concluded since 2019.
United Chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe has saved the costs since taking over football activities in the club, with a number of rounds of dismissals and other measures that have been taking place recently.
Although there is reportedly there is no indication that United will soon find a training kit sponsor, they will want to earn back a lot of the money that has been lost by the Tezos deal when they do.
Ruben Amorim's side starts their Premier League season on August 17 at Arsenal.
