Man Utd: Axel Tuanzebe sues former club in clinical negligence lawsuit

Axel Tuanzebe has sued his former club Manchester United in a lawsuit of clinical negligence.

The 27-year-old submitted a claim on July 9 in a clinical negligence case linked to “Medical Advice”.

Tuanzebe left Manchester United two years ago when his contract went.

He came through the youth team of Manchester United and played 37 times for the first team before he came to Ipswich in 2023.

Tuanzebe's time at United was disturbed by injuries, first starting when he sustained a hip injury during warming up for a fixture against Liverpool in 2019.

He was then excluded for the rest of the season after he had injured himself in a Carabao Cup victory on Colchester United in December.

He missed the start of the next campaign with a foot injury and had a long enchantment on the sidelines at the beginning of 2022/23 and only returned to the training in January, after which he came on loan at Stoke City.

Injury continued to bully him until he came to Ipswich, where he made more than 40 performances after he had established himself as their first choiceback and the club helped to promote to the Premier League in 2023/24.

De Dr. Congo International came to Burnley last month with a free transfer after rejecting the range of a new deal at Ipswich.

Sky Sports News has contacted the Tuanzebe representatives for comment.

Manchester United refused to comment.
