MANCHESTER UNITED have drawn up a four-man shortlist, according to reports.
But the Red Devils will have to beat at least one of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho or Kobbie Mainoo this month to finance a striker.
Selling any of these three homegrown products would benefit United immensely from a PSR perspective.
Rashford's £315,000-a-week salary is a challenge, even though he has received interest from Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona.
Chelsea and Napoli are now interested in Garnacho, while the Blues also have an interest in Mainoo.
According to the Mail, Man Utd scouts are monitoring Prem trio Liam Delap, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
While Lille striker Jonathan David is also on their radar.
Former Man City academy kid Delap has impressed for Ipswich this season, with the 21-year-old scoring eight times for the Tractor Boys.
Mbeumo has 13 Prem goals for Brentford this season, while Cunha (25) manages 10 for strugglers Wolves.
David, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has scored 11 times in Ligue 1 this season – in addition to Champions League strikes against Real Madrid, Atletico, Juventus and Liverpool.

Should the Red Devils manage to beat one of their own trio, United could land a late striker.
United are said to be demanding around £75 million for Garnacho.
While they want a higher compensation for Mainoo.
Rashford could take out a loan, with the deal largely dependent on whether they can find a suitor to take on the majority of his £315,000 wages.
