MANCHESTER UNITED fans were left “on their feet applauding” after Leny Yoro saved Ruben Amorim's side against Liverpool.
The two teams played out a thrilling encounter at Anfield on Sunday, with the Premier League match ending 2-2.
Lisandro Martinez put United ahead and gave his side a shock lead in the second half.
But Cody Gakpo pulled one back moments later as Liverpool stepped up a gear.
The leader's breakthrough came when Matthijs de Ligt gave away a penalty for a handball.
Top scorer Mo Salah stepped up and fired home his penalty for a 2-1 lead.
However, United did not give up without a fight.
And their tenacity was rewarded when Amad Diallo scored to make it 2-2, sealing a deserved point for his side.
Despite United's pushback, they almost conceded a third goal late on.
After players were thrown forward for an attack, the visitors were quickly hit by Liverpool at half-time.

Arne Slot's side stormed forward at breakneck speed when substitute Darwin Nunez took control of the ball.
But milliseconds before he could work his magic, the Uruguayan was brilliantly dispossessed by United defender Yoro.
The teenage centre-back, who has missed much of the season through injury since signing for £52m from Lille this summer, had come on for De Ligt in the 83rd minute.
Yet he showed no signs of rust with a beautifully timed slide tackle to rob Nunez and end Liverpool's fearsome break.
United fans were certainly delighted by Yoro's heroics.
One said: “Leny Yoro, that tackle on Nunez, I'm applauding.”
