Man Utd fans think Amorim threw shade at ETH with comments about Amad Diallo
Manchester United supporters believe that Ruben Amorim made a subtle comment about former manager Erik ten Hag with one of his post-match comments on Sunday.
New manager Amorim made it two wins in a row as his side defeated Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Amad Diallo started the match and put in a brilliant performance, providing two assists in a performance full of energy.
And after the match, Amorim was full of praise for the player as he made a comment that some took as a joke against Ten Hag.
He said: 'small in size, but big in talent. He has done well, but still needs to improve.
'He's in great shape. Ruud van Nistelrooy helped him a lot when he was manager and now he helps me.'
Van Nistelrooy took charge of just four games after Ten Hag's dismissal and it is interesting that Amorim would highlight his impact on Diallo.
“Amorim literally threw punches at Ten Hag,” wrote a fan. 'This is why Ruben Amorim is the chosen one to make Manchester United great again.
Another wrote: 'Ten Hag, that subliminal was for you. How can you have a gem of a player like Amad and play players like Forson, Antony and Mazaroui in his favorite position?
'I won a game against Liverpool and didn't get a minute in the next three games. Horrible man management.
