Man Utd forced to change plans for Dorgu transfer in fresh Amorim setback

Manchester United is forced to push the medical medical of Patrick Dorgu back prior to his relocation of Lecce, it was claimed.

Left-back Dorgu, who can also play on the right, is expected to help you offer balance left while the club adapts to the 3-4-3 arrangement of Ruben Amorim. The Danish international will participate around £ 30 million, so that everything can be completed before the transfer deadline from Monday evening.

Amorim has so far been forced to improvise on the left. Right-back Diogo Dalot has been a regular choice in his less well-known position, and the Portuguese scored his first goal of the season in Thursday's victory to FCSB in the Europa League.

Dalot can be called up again on Sunday when United Crystal Palace is in the Premier League, where the club is still waiting for Dorgu. According to the latest updates, it does indeed take a little longer than planned.

The E -mail reports that Dorgu will now only fly to England this weekend. The paper reports that relevant documentation and contracts were not signed on time for medical tests that had to be completed earlier.

Dorgu, 20, will be the first signing of Amorim since taking over Old Trafford in November. In the January transfer window there were questions about whether United should sell before they could buy, but the Antony's loan movement helped to remove some money from the wage account.

By closing the transfer window on Monday evening, doing the Dorgu deal is the greatest priority. However, there may be one or two outputs, where clubs in particular remain interested in Alejandro Garnacho.

United is set to a slightly quieter schedule from February, because Amorim wants to get his team on the right track to climb the Premier League table. The Red Devils won on Thursday against FCSB in Bucharest to continue directly to the Europa League round of 16 without a play-off.

“That's the biggest thing,” Amorim told TNT Sports after the last victory. “More than the victory is to have time to train and have time to restore the players.”

Amorim's team will come across one of AZ, Midtjylland, Real Sociedad and Galatasaray in their next European match, with those four teams grouped for the play-off round in February. United will not return to the European promotion until March and endured it as the only team with an undefeated record in the competition phase.
