Ruben Amorim will use state-of-the-art technology to find out who does not pull their weight at Manchester United.
The Portuguese Gaffer has been downright ruthless since the replacement of Erik ten Hag at the Old Trafford helmet.
Amorim has already banned Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
And he could be set to add a few more names to his “Bomb Squad” thanks to the implementation of the most elite fitness device.
This season, Amorim's troops will wear Statsports' Apex 2.0 GPS Performance Tracker Vests during training and in competitions to monitor their respective outputs.
The trackers will offer “real-time kinematics” to the former sporting Lisbon boss and his staff with no fewer than five million data points for a 90-minute period.
The tracker is said to be 100 percent accurate, which means that someone who is supposed not to pull his weight has no leg to get up.
Statsports -director Paul Mckernan told The Telegraph: “You can make decisions about the players based on data you see in front of you.
“Don't wait until after the session and downloading the data and say:” I wish Mason Mount had run a little further or had done a few sprints, or he actually did too much today. “
Writing is apparently on the wall for one of the remaining behind, of which Luke Shaw recently claimed to no longer be present, in the Red Devil team.
Amorim said: “If you don't train in the right way, I have images to show you.
'And I will show you for everyone. So I'm always at the top [of the players].
“I will expect to be in one phase – that I don't have to do anything because they will push each other.
“But if you train poorly once, I will show you the image right now.
“I won't talk to you, I'll just speak. I'll show you everything.”
Amorim will hope that his new six -member leadership team, which consists of skipper Bruno Fernandes, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, Tom Heaton and Harry Maguire, the whip will crack on their under -performing teammates this season.
United, who ended the 2024/25 season in 15th place, will start their new domestic campaign at home on Arsenal a week on Sunday.
