Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal battle it out for four in-demand transfer targets

Premier League Giants Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are already making plans for the summer transfer window and all three clubs want to sign a new goal scorer

Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all on the market for a new striker this summer and weigh the movements for the same players. United wants to strengthen their attack due to disappointing return of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

The couple has only managed six Premier League goals between the season, with United Slowishing in the 13th. Liverpool is looking for an upgrade on Darwin Nunez, who is publicly criticized this season by manager Arne Slot.

In the meantime, Arsenal saw their title Bid this season after Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz had sustained seasonal injuries and their attempts to sign a new striker in the transfer star of January, failed.

Prolieve goal scorers are hard to find to find clubs that can come into a bidding war. Here Mirror Football has taken a look at four strikers that can be moving this summer …

Alexander Isak

All three clubs are admirers of the Newcastle striker, but it is unlikely that Isak will leave St James' park this summer.

Isak has developed into one of the best attackers in the world since he came to Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022, and has so far has 50 goals in 77 league games. The 25-year-old is under contract until 2028 and Newcastle do not want to sell him.

It would need an astronomical offer for the club to even consider cash in on Isak and that is unlikely in view of the profit and sustainability rules (PSR) that are currently present. Isak is also Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rahayyan's favorite player and he told the club to keep him.

Benjamin Sesko

Arsenal tried to sign the RB Leipzig star last summer, but in the end he eventually agreed with a contract extension instead.

Sesko remains on Arsenal's list of transfer goals prior to the window of this summer, while United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also credited with an interest in rush hour. The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals in 37 performances in all games so far this season and would like to have a movement.

The player previously admitted that Leipzig -boss Marco Rose played an important role in his decision to stay in the club, but he was fired and replaced by Thomas Tuchel's former assistant Zolt Low in a movement that could influence the future of Sesko.

Viktor Gyokees

Arsenal is said to increase their interest in Gyokees, while former sporting boss Ruben Amorim is considered enthusiastic with the striker at Old Trafford.

Gyokeres is one of the most productive goal scorers in the world since he moved to Portugal from Coventry in 2023, with the 26-year-old 85 goals in 92 performances in all games for sport.

And Gyokeres has been open about his desire to play for “one of the best teams in Europe” and told Marca in December: “My goal? To play for one of the best teams in Europe. That has been the goal. It is sometimes difficult.

Hugo Ekitike

The Eintracht Frankfurt Striker is another who is on the radar of all three clubs, while Newcastle also regards him as a potential replacement for Isak when he leaves Tyneside this summer.

Mirror Football, however, understands that Frankfurt is planning to play hardball in negotiations, because Paris Saint-Germain has a clause of 20 percent. This season, Ekitike scored 19 goals in 39 games in all matches for Frankfurt and a move to the Premier League is probably considered.

And United was able to stop a lead over their rivals in the race for the services of Ekitike, because the 22-year-old was a fan of Red Devils Red Devils. It is thought that a figure of around £ 60 million Frankfurt could seduce to sell, but the Bundesliga side hopes for a bidding war.
