Manchester United is preparing for a huge Europa League collision against Lyon on Thursday, but Ruben Amorim is also looking up to the future make -up of his team
It is a huge week before Manchester United, a week that could determine their miserable season. The Red Devils are faltering a terrible 4-1 away road to Newcastle, because the five changes from Ruben Amorim have no longer given their first victory since the international break.
Amorim will be desperate, on Thursday against Lyon, as the second stage of the quarterfinals of the teams of the teams. A decision must be made on Andre Onana, who made two Howlers in the first stage and was dropped instead of Altay Bayindir for his first Premier League start at Newcastle.
If United is not able to beat Lyon, they only have their worst Premier League season to concentrate. The Red Devils will be guaranteed to end with their lowest points, worse than the 2021-22 campaign.
But United also looks beyond the season, while the summer transfer window looms up. Amorim wants to rebuild his team and, as always, editions can be just as important as income.
Here is an overview of the latest news from Old Trafford.
Onana doesn't want to stop
Andre Onana plans to recover himself as no.1 of Ruben Amorim and wants to stay in Old Trafford. Onana, 29, was dropped for the first time in the Premier League on Sunday and remains in the dark whether he will start the huge collision on Thursday with Lyon.
The Sun report that Onana has long been interested in Saudi Arabia and the keeper was not satisfied with the wage reduction he suffered when United did not qualify for the Champions League last summer. Onana, however, does not want to stop and wants to prove that his critics are wrong.

Sancho and Garnacho will be 'desperate to leave'
Both Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho will desperately leave Manchester United this summer, will be claimed. The two wing players could be on the chopping block, where United wants to raise money.
Sancho could permanently come to Chelsea for £ 25 million, although the blues can abandon the clause and send him back to United for £ 5 million. Garnacho was now heavily connected to a move to Napoli in January and is not flourishing under Ruben Amorim, which encourages a former Premier League star to give them a tip to leave.

Carragher makes Amorim Sack Claim
Jamie Carragher believes that Manchester United should be patient with Ruben Amorim – and they might as well fire him as they want him to change his system. Amorim has only won 23 points of a possible 63 in the Premier League, with the Europa League its only silver lining.
“People keep saying,” Oh, he has to change the system, “said Carragher on Sky Sports. “I don't really see it because his entire management career and the success he had based on that system is what he knows. If he goes to something else, they might as well change the manager.”
