The defender of Manchester United Tyrell Malacia reportedly rejected a switch to another Premier League club before he came to PSV Eindhoven.
Malacia has struggled with injury problems in recent years, with the left back since the beginning of last season made only nine performances for United in all competitions. After the signing of Patrick Dorgu van Lecce, Malacia was surpassed by Ruben Amorim by Ruben Amorim and completed a late loan movement to PSV.
According to the Dutch outlet football addicted, however, Wolves were also interested in the 25-year-old while trying to prevent relegation. Malacia, however, finally decided to become a member of PSV instead to look to win a second consecutive Eredivisie title.
Thinking about his move, Malacia said he looked forward to “playing good football again” and leaving his injury problems behind. With Clubmedia, Malacia said: “I am happy to be here.
“Finally playing good football again. I come from a long injury, but now I am fit and I know that my time will come again.
“In every difficult period there are also positive elements and in this case it is that I have become much stronger physically and mentally. I have more patience, I am more mature, know my body better and things like that. I am ready to pop out And hopefully win different prizes with PSV.
Earnest Stewart, PSV's director of football matters, added: “We are very happy to welcome Tyrell, a player who can be of immediate value for PSV 1. Tyrell has a lot of experience at the highest level and is also a player with much of Potential.
Dorgu is now ready to be the first choice of United, where Luke Shaw suffers a small setback in his recovery of an injury only a week after he returned to the first team course. “I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a player from Manchester United; this is a very special day for my whole family,” Dorgu said after coming to the Red Devils.
“I can't wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting. There is a clear plan for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to my potential to fulfill and complete my enormous ambitions “
