WOLVES suffered a shock knockout on Boxing Day as Manchester United's battle continued.
The 2-0 defeat means Ruben Amorim has won just two of the seven Premier League games he has been in charge of.
United are fourteenth in the table and were not helped today by Bruno Fernandes' red card and Andre Onana who headed one in straight from a corner.
Here's how SunSport rated the performance…
ANDRE ONANA: 4
He was forced to make a deft save from Jorgen Strand Larsen in the first half but seriously misjudged Cunha's corner for the opening goal – his claim that he was impeded by Matt Doherty was dismissed.
LENY YORO: 5
Recalled, but booked after just four minutes for a foul on Cunha, so he was walking on eggshells and tested all the time by Wolves. He was substituted just after the hour.
HARRY MAGUIRE: 6
The England defender did his best to keep United in the game when the country was under pressure for long periods. In any case, he helped turn the tide until the final seconds and headed towards goal in injury time.
LISANDRO MARTINEZ: 6
He worked well with Maguire to prevent Wolves from winning this one more easily, holding his ground and providing some key challenges in the latter stages before Wolves caught him on the break with the final move of the match.
NOUSSAIR MAZRAOUI: 5
Determined and determined, he was one of many players who were given a torrid time by the best player on the pitch, Cunha.
MANUEL UGARTE: 5
Dispossessed too easily at times, he struggled against a lively Wolves attack and was eventually removed as one of Amorim's substitutes after Fernandes' red card.
KOBBIE MAINOO: 5
Looked a threat early and created some good openings, but he was booked after the break as United ran out of ideas, faded and was substituted.
DIOGO DALOT: 6
He made a great save from Jose Sa in the first half, which was a rare bright spot for United, but he did not have a major impact on United's poor display.
AMAD DIALLO: 5
Oblivious at times to his teammates, he seemed a shadow of the player who turned the Manchester derby around less than a fortnight ago.
BRUNO FERNANDES: 3
Early in the second half he was sent off for a second yellow card after a challenge on Nelson Semedo, but before that the captain had cut a frustrated figure.
RASMUS HOJLUND: 5
He became visibly irritated at times by a lack of service from his teammates, had no fun up front and was substituted with 10 minutes to go.
SUBS:
Casemiro (for Mainoo, 63 minutes): 6
Christian Eriksen (for Ugate, 63 minutes) 6
Antony (for Yoro, 63 minutes) 6
Alejandro Garnacho: (for Amad, 79 minutes) 5
Joshua Zirkzee: (for Hojlund, 79 minutes) 5
