Man Utd ratings: Zirkzee bright before injury but how did Onana replacement do?

The worst Premier League season in Manchester United was confirmed with a 4-1 defeat against Newcastle.

The Red Devils will now guarantee less than 56 points, which is their lowest Premo -Totaal ever, even if they win all their last six games.

It was again a dark day that reflects a bad campaign for United, while Newcastle easily kept them open in the second half.

Sandro Tonali's Volley, A Double from Harvey Barnes and A Bruno Guimaraes Finish has canceled the goal of Alejandro Garnacho.

Here is how Sunsport's Gary Stonehouse de United versions rated.

Altay Bayindir – 4

All eyes were aimed at the Turkish keeper when he replaced the fallen Andre Onana.

He did not set a foot wrong in the early stages of his Premier League debut and made an excellent salvation to refuse Alexander Isak in the first half.

But that all went to the pot when the Red Devils started crumbling, and he gave one to make the magpies the fourth when he chipped straight to Joelinton.

Set the nerves a few more times to leave the manager with one big question – is it time for Tom Heaton to come in?

Noussair Mazraoui – 4

It seemed to do well in the opening period, because he often collaborated with Diogo Dalot to try to keep Barnes out.

Although, just like his teammates, it absolutely went to pieces as soon as Newcastle it performed.

His mistake for the third goal summarized his bad display.

Victor Lindelof – 5

The defense achieved well as the center of the three during the first period.

But the Swede must have felt like the boy with his finger in the dike next to Yoro and Mazraoui.

A man looked out with the world on his shoulders as soon as he had had the bracelet late and will undoubtedly count the seconds to full -time countdown.

Leny Yoro – 4

Not the best display of the young French, which was booked for Tousling for a corner in the opening period.

Huge question marks about him positionally for the first two goals in Newcastle.

And when a sloppy fainting that almost led to a different goal halfway through the second period, these terrible achievements characterized.

Diogo Dalot – 5

Could have been stronger in a few first half -challenges, but offered a lot of threat in the United attacks.

His pace led to the equalizer, but could not have an impact in the second period.

And he will be upset that he has not closed the threat of Barnes with two goals.

Manuel Ugarte – 5

Was a shame to go early in the book for what looked like a great tackle on Tino Livramento and that meant that he had to play the rest of the game on a cord.

It was his sloppy game that gave the ball away for the Newcastle opener, but he made up for that by surpassing Joelinton to create the equalizer.

But he was one of those who failed to protect the defense as soon as the locks opened.

Christian Eriksen – 5

The Dane constantly wanted the ball, but did very little with it.

Outstowered, outterded and well off the pace as soon as it became difficult.

The magic seems to decrease.

Harry Amass – 5

The 18-year-old was another who made his first Premier League start and sometimes struggled with physicality.

Struggled to make a lot of impact against Jacob Murphy in attack.

And he was caught a garden in the run -up to the second of Newcastle before he was removed.

Bruno Fernandes – 5

Intelligent performance during the first 45 minutes of the United Captain.

But when his defense was holding to hand over Newcastle the victory, their leader was nowhere to be seen.

Only one Bruno was left today – and they wore black and white.

Alejandro Garnacho – 6

His pace was a constant thorn and danger to the defense of Newcastle.

And he showed great calm with a fine finish to level.

Although a sloppy withdrawal on a rare counter was his last piece of work after the break.

Joshua Zirkzee – 7

The Dutch attacker recovered early from a sloppy pass to produce another encouraging display.

Came close to a more open playing with Fernandes and fought well with Toon's Big Boys Dan Burn and Fabian Schar.

Unfortunately, just as it seemed as if the shape of the 23-year-old built up, his season could now be in threat because he was enforced with a hamstring injury.

Subs:

Mason Mount (on Garnacho 55 minutes) – 5

Struggled to have any impact.

Just like the one for him, he discovered that the tone -midfield was too hungry, physically and just wanted more.

Rasmus Hojlund (Op For Zirkzee 55 minutes) – 4

Try to get physically involved with schar and burned, but was not lucky.

Didn't offer anything while his side Omrold and died.

Patrick Dorgu (for a collection of 55 minutes) – 5

A few nice details but nothing of comments. Not much will remember his volatile this afternoon.

Luke Shaw (on for Mazraoui 77 minutes) – 5

The only positive for him was minutes in the tank.

Came at Centrum half next to Lindelof for the final phase and luckily helped no longer admit.

Kobbie Mainoo (Op For Fernandes 81 minutes) – NVT
