Man Utd receive clear Antony transfer message as Isco makes ‘crowdfund’ claim

Antony has been a revelation since he was on loan from Manchester United at Real Betis in January with his surprising versions that led to the current unbeaten run of the La Liga side

Real Betis captain Isco joked that the club might have to launch a crowdfunding campaign to guarantee the permanent return of Antony from Manchester United in the summer. His comments follow the great performance of the Brazilian winger in Andalusia since he got on loan at the year.

Antony played a key role in the comeback victory of Betis in the Seville Derby on Sunday, and he was seen cherishing in the euphoric post-match parties, waving a flag while he was sitting on the shoulders of teammate Adrian.

Sevilla initially continued with a goal from Ruben Vargas on the 17 minutes, but Betis fought back with strikes from Johnny and Cucho Hernandez-de Last set up by Isco-what means that they led just before the break.

Betis held on to the Benito Villamarin to compensate for their fourth consecutive victory and push their undefeated line to seven games. Since his loan moved from United to Spain in January, Antony – who made no impression on Old Trafford – has been praised for his performances.

Betis is, however, confronted with a tough fight to make the move of Antony permanently permanent this summer because of its hefty appreciation and salary requirements, while his contract with United is still running until 2027.

Speculation about another loan saying is widespread, but it is unclear whether United – who paid Ajax £ 82 million to sign it in 2022 – demand a sale to finance the overhaul of Ruben Amorim, reports the explicit.

“We will have to go crowdfund to bring him back one year,” said Isco after his decisive contribution to the Sevilla Derby Triumph.

“His humility and willingness to borrow a hand have completely overwhelmed us. Since his arrival there has been a noticeable shift and we must continue to do things correctly.”

This is not the first time that Isco has expressed his surprise about the impressive form of Antony in Spain, after a challenging two and a half years at United.

At the beginning of March, the 32-year-old said: “He will enjoy his football again. He needed a change of air and Betis has the best air there is. He surprised me on a personal level and as a football player. I am happy that a player of his level is at Betis.”

Although Antony did not contribute directly to a goal against Seville, his presence had a significant impact on the game. He pulled four mistakes, created three scoring opportunities and he won seven of his 11 duels.

Isco is not the only one who sings Antony's praise; The Spanish media are also impressed. El Correa described him as a “Rocket Down the Wing”, El Desmarque labeled him a “nuisance”, and El Pespunte praised the work percentage of Antony in the Manuel Pellegrini team.
