Manchester United has rejected a stunning five approaches to sell Harry Maguire this summer, suggest reports.
The future of Maguire, 32, had been uncertain this summer, while United was watching a potential eraser after their worst Premier League season, ending a low 15th place.
And this summer the English international had the opportunity to leave Old Trafford after offers from three Premier League clubs and two from Italy.
However, red Devils Transfer Bosses have rejected each of these approaches, according to the Daily Mail.
And the report adds that United is considering offering him a contract extension to enable him to see his career in Manchester.
Maguire's current £ 190,000 a week deal at the club will be at the end of this coming season.
The former Leicester star is supposed to stay in Old Trafford, where he arrived for a then record-breaking £ 80 million for a defender in 2019.
It is understood that no conversations have taken place with regard to a possible extension.
Maguire is a growing presence in the preseason after he initially did not travel to the US with the US prior to their participation in the Premier League Summer Series.
He picked the bank against West Ham and Everton, but started against Bournemouth before he was picked up during the break.
In 2023, Maguire was about to join West Ham of David Moyes in a deal with a value of approximately £ 30 million before it collapsed.
After he seemed to be in the periphery in United under Erik ten Hag, Maguire fought his way back to the vanguard of thinking for the current boss Ruben Amorim.
In January the 40-year-old Maguire again called a “leader”.
Maguire recently spoke about his goals for the coming season after he recently returned from an injury.
He told Red Devils Club Media: “I just want to be part of a successful team this season. I think that last season was a difficult season for everyone individually, but also as a team, as a team, as a club.
“This season there are no apologies. We will have a lot of time to prepare for the Premier League matches, and we have to make sure that we are ready.
“So for myself it makes me available, I am fit, I am ready to go and give everything I can do to this team and this club.”
Other clubs related to Maguire are French sides Marseille and Monaco, while Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray are known as admirers – of which the first two are managed by ex -sized bosses Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Maguire has made 246 performances for United and scored 15 goals, including the dramatic winner in the Europa League thriller against Lyon in Old Trafford.
Man Utd has one last pre-season fixture on the calendar before the Premier League season against Arsenal is opened.
They compete against the Italian outfit Fiorentina on Saturday at 12:45 pm in Old Trafford, where the legendary former goalkeeper David de Gea will be able to say goodbye to fans after his exit in 2023.
In terms of transfer activity, United Newcastle rides for the signature of RB Leipzig Ace Benjamin Sesko.
As Sunsport exclusively revealed, they are also enthusiastic about Ollie Watkins if they do not land the 22-year-old Slovenian, with the Aston Villa star who is reportedly available for around £ 40 million to £ 50 million.
