Man Utd set deadline to complete £92.5m double deal as Amorim wish comes true

Manchester United has been terrible for the goal this season, but the wish of Ruben Amorim to land two new strikers could be about to come, with large movements in the pipeline

Manchester United is said to make a splash in the summer transfer window by completing striking deals for two strikers as quickly as possible. United is in urgent need for new attackers this summer, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee not the task and the club has ambitious plans to solve their problems.

Of all their many problems this season, United was the most incompetent for the goal, after they have only scored 38 times in 33 Premier League matches. Hojlund has only yielded eight goals in 45 games this season in all competitions and has one in its last 28, while Zirkzee has seven in 48 performances and is out with a hamstring injury.

Ruben Amorim had worked with target machine Viktor Gyokeres in Sporting Lisbon before he arrived at Old Trafford and is desperate to have serious firepower added this summer.

Amorim was told earlier in the season not to expect a huge amount of money to spend, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe belts in the midst of a terrible financial situation.

But the Daily Mail reports that the club would like to do business earlier when the window is opened on 1 June. United is already in conversation with Wolves star Matheus Cunha and will activate his £ 62.5 million release clause at the earliest possible occasion.

Cunha has 16 goals and four assists in 31 games this season and has played an important role to avoid the decrease. He has made it clear that he wants to leave wolves and reportedly wants to collaborate with Amorim, who would play him as one of his two NR. 10s in his favorite 3-4-2-1 formation.

United is said to also push hard to sign Ipswich striker Liam Delap in a £ 30 million deal as soon as the relegation of the tractor boys has been officially made to the championship. Delap has managed 12 goals in the Premier League in front of Kieran McKenna and has admirers in the United Hierarchy, despite his youth and inexperience.

The club has been associated with Victor Osimhen, but the Nigeria International could cost a considerable amount more than Delap, despite the fact that it is only 16 months left on its NAPOLI contract. Osimhen, who has scored 29 goals this season of 34 games on loan with Galatasaray, certainly seems to be moving this summer, but will attract a lot of interest.

For which attackers they choose, United knows that they have to sell players to finance their movements. They will start trying to agree deals for Loanese Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, all of whom can join their current clubs permanently.

Rashford is impressed by Aston Villa and can generate £ 40 million by becoming a permanent member, Sancho goes to Chelsea forever, Antony is sought by Real Betis and Malacia can go back to the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven.

United knows that there are more profitable players they can sell, including Casemiro, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainooo. Garnacho and Mainoo, which are linked to Chelsea, would be useful in terms of profit and sustainability rules, since they are both of their own soil.
