Manchester United, Spurs and Arsenal fans go to Bilbao on a 32-hour ferry tour prior to the Europa League final on Wednesday evening.
Hundreds of supporters joined holidaymakers for the epic boat trip that Portsmouth left at 10 pm on Sundays and arrives until 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
With flights to Spain who fluctuated to more than £ 1,000 after United and Spurs had sealed their places in the final, many benefited from the cheaper but much longer ferry option, which costs around £ 260 with a hut.
And some even looked forward to their time at sea than watching the competition itself.
Lifelong United -follower Dave, from Derby, is one of the many who don't even have a match ticket, but the Journey called a “bucket list trip”.
He added: “The way our fate played, I am more enthusiastic about the boat.
“I originally didn't bought a hut, but then I didn't feel like sitting on a chair for two days.”
Others have been planning the journey for months, including father and son Tottenham -fans Neil and Leo, who booked their ferry cards and hotel in Bilbao in August.
Leo, 17, said: “I just had the feeling that we will do it”, and now with confidence that Spurs will win 4-2 in the final to go down 2-1.
The mood on board has been brilliant, with fans of both clubs mixing in the bar this morning until 2 am, although the last orders were called at midnight.

Four United fans who had driven from Somerset to Portsmouth were still strong, despite the start of their pre-match structure on Saturday morning and have hardly been asleep since then.
However, they had a black eye to show for his problems after he fell on the way.
Among the United and Spurs fans was even one arsenal supporter who made the journey pure in the hope of seeing his rivals in North Londs losing.
He said: “I really enjoy being under the United fans and having a night out in Bilbao.
“On a scale of one to ten I would say that my hatred for Spurs is about 80.”
Spursfan Paul will just like to come to Spain after trying to get to the boat.
The IT worker and Tottenham Tiktoker, who booked his ferry cards with Pal Ben Halfway through the first stage of the semi-final victory over Bodo/Glimt, was almost refused access to the boat because of a “expired” passport.
He revealed last night: “I still have the feeling that I have a positive day, although it was pretty challenging.
“Our train from London to Portsmouth was not from London to Portsmouth, but London to Eastleigh.
“So we found another train that brought us from London to Petersfield, which meant that we then had to get a taxi.
“The taxi driver did not know where to go for the ferry. He got lost, he only wanted cash and we had no cash, so we had to sort all that Palaver.
“In the end we sorted that and then we thought it was an eight -hour leave and it is not, it is ten hours, so two hours extra in the pub.
“And now I have just found that my passport may not have left me on the ferry, although I have spent an absolute fortune on ferry tickets, accommodation, flights around Europe to get home and tickets for the game of course.
“I have discovered that I can continue, but that is based on the fact that I have booked a flight to say that I am really coming back to the UK.
“But otherwise I have to get a new passport.”
