David Beckham has criticized the players of Manchester United because of their 'unacceptable' behavior in their tour after the season through Asia.
United did not have a break after their worst Premier League season ever, immediately to Malaysia and Hong Kong for two friendly competitions, intended to connect them with their fan base and raise some much needed money.
The spirits were low after the recent Euroopa League defeat against Spurs United was missing about the qualification of Champions League and the financial boost that brings it.
Incidents on the Tour did not help much to help, with Alejandro Garnacho pushing a fan who swears him and Amad with another, of which he said it had made offensive remarks about his mother.
Speaking at CBS Sports, said former United wing player Beckham: “I don't like to see what happens in the club.
“It is true that it is the field that matters, but I see many things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and a fan of Manchester United.
“You have to represent the badge. I have seen many things that players did not act in the right way.
“We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant.
“Everywhere we traveled, either in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, get a signature or take photos. You have to respect that.”
United boss Ruben Amorim said his side should hear the anger after a 1-0 defeat to Asean All-Stars in their first game after the season.
Teen Chido Obi offered some room for optimism in the second game against Hong Kong, while his second half doubled from the bank a 3-1 comeback victory.
