Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund was not included in the team that left 1-1 in Fulham and is now understood that he pulled an old Trafford exit off
Napoli continues in their pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund After the striker of Manchester United had conversations with his former teammate, Scott McTominay, about a possible step to the Italian champions.
Hojlund, 22, only moved to Old Trafford for £ 72 million from Atalanta in the summer of 2023, but has difficulty establishing itself as United's first choice and scored only 14 Premier League goals for two seasons. And with Benjamin Sesko who arrives earlier in the transfer window for big money, Hojlund has fallen the pecking order under Ruben Amorim.

The report adds that McTominay's call will probably be 'decisive' in Hojlund and agrees to return to Italy with Napoli who insists on a loan agreement with an obligation to make the move permanently in line later. It is said that United would consider a proposal with a loan costs of € 5 million (£ 4.3 million) plus a mandatory purchase price of € 40 million (£ 34.5 million).
Hojlund was omitted from the Manchester United Squad who traveled to London for Sunday's 1-1 draw with Fulham; Mason Mount started in the attack next to Summer Recurrent Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo with Sesko who came from the bank in the second half.
Amorim has chosen to relieve Sesko to life in the Premier League after his arrival with a big money from RB Leipzig, but Andy Gray has stunned that, who cannot understand why the striker does not start games for United yet.
