The defender of Manchester United Tyrell Malacia has taken his farewell to teammates at Carrington while looking forward to joining Benfica.
The Dutch left back will follow Marcus Rashford by leaving Old Trafford on a temporary basis.
Rashford said goodbye to his united teammates prior to his loan movement to Aston Villa.
During his time at United, Malacia has endured a lot of accident with injuries and has only made 47 performances for the club since he was connected in 2022.
The 25-year-old contract at United runs until the summer of 2026, but he is now set to a loan switch to Benfica. He was also interested in Real Betis and Celtic.
The arrival of Patrick Dorgu van Lecce pushed Malacia further through the pecking order in United.
Malacia has only characterized United in the Premier League three times this season.
He started his career at Feyenoord and has nine caps for the Netherlands, but has not been seen in front of his country since 2023.
United has also secured the signing of the young center-back Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.
Rashford has meanwhile agreed personal conditions prior to his expected move to Villa.
Villa Boss Unai Emery would like to add to his attacking options after the £ 65 million from Jhon Duran to Al-Nassr.
Rashford, who fell out of grace under Ruben Amorim, is set to complete his loan movement to Villa within the next 24 hours.
Rashford's wages of approximately £ 350,000 are good over the salary of the top earner of Villa, which is thought to be EMI Martinez.
It is understood that Villa will contribute about 70 percent of the salary of Rashford Plus performance -based clauses. The agreement has also been established to include a purchase option at the end of the season.
In total, Rashford made 426 performances for United and scored 138 goals.
He no longer plays for United since the Europa League match against Viktoria Plzen on December 12.
