Manchester United has performed conversations with agents in an attempt to sell Casemiro before Deadline Day, according to reports.
Casemiro has seen a sharp decline in the last two seasons, whereby the former Real Madrid star is unable to recapture his best performance in Old Trafford and get some heavy research from fans and experts.
He has not started a match under Ruben Amorim since December 30, when United suffered a gloomy 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle, and he was addicted in that game after 64 minutes.
The Brazilian has been strongly associated with an exit in recent months and reportedly came close to Galatasaray towards the end of the summer window.
Now United is looking for a buyer for the 32-year-old, according to Manchester Evening News, and have approached a number of agents who want to secure an exit for him before the deadline of Monday at 11 p.m.
Casemiro still has 18 months on his United Deal and his future seems particularly gloomy after Amorim has chosen to start Academy Prospect Toby Collyer about him for the 2-0 win over FCSB in the Europa League on Thursday.
He finally rose as a sub for the last 20 minutes of the game, which was his first performance for a month. The current first choice of United Midfield Partnership is Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte, with Christian Eriksen also above Casemiro in the pecking order.
The Saudi Pro League could be a potential destination for Casemiro, who came to United for £ 70 million in 2022, with ex-Red Devil Cristiano Ronaldo to the veteran to insist on his club Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo, who played with Casemiro in Real Madrid and United, is supposed to believe that his profile would already give a huge boost commercial – while the slower pace of the competition also suits him.
When asked why Casemiro was omitted from United -Line -ups, Amorim said this month: “He must have the characteristics and then I have to choose the player with the characteristics about how I see the game.
“It's just the case and I have to make some choices, I want to play a game that is sometimes different from other coaches and I have to choose based on that. That's all.”
