Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira reports that United have failed with a big bid for the Dane.
Schira said: “Lecce have rejected a rich offer from Manchester United for Patrick Dorgu in recent days.
“Lecce would not want to sell him in this transfer period.”
The 20-year-old Dorgu has a contract with Lecce that runs until the summer of 2029.
