Man United Target Senne Lammens has praised the Red Devils as 'one of the best clubs' in the world and expressed his conviction that he could reach the step.
The keeper of Royal Antwerp was followed by Man United, with Mail Sport reporting in January that the 23-year-old was seen as a possible competition for Andre Onana.
Onana is currently recovering from a hamstring injury, so that the man United sets up their search for another Shot stopper.
Mail Sport reported last week that Man United had failed in an attempt to sign Emi Martinez of Aston Villa on loan, with Lammens remaining an option.
Lammens, who was called to the Belgian team for the first time in March, was tipped to continue from Antwerp after an excellent season for the Pro League side.
Speaking with reporters in Belgium, Lammens expressed his conviction that he has earned the ties with Man United and would be able to make the step.
However, the goalkeeper suggested that his next club should have a plan for his future in case he was not the immediate no. 1.
“Manchester United is one of the best clubs, yes,” said Lammens, according to Gazet van Antwerpen.
“But you never know. It can also be another club, or who knows, I could stay here. In any case, I try to keep my feet on the floor. When such teams come by, I think you have earned it.
“I certainly have enough faith in myself. I think the most important thing is that my future team, when they arrive, has a plan.
'Ideally, that means playing immediately, but it is also possible that I have to take a step in between.
'As long as there is a plan, it doesn't matter if I am ready for the next step or not. Everyone has their own career, their own path. Even if I don't immediately take the right step, I get there.
'It can be within a few days, but also a few months or a year. I have people around me who help me with that, and that way I can concentrate on what I have to do. '
Lammens has made 61 first team performances for Royal Antwerp, originally set up by the youth of Club Brugge.
The Schotstopper saved a penalty last week when Antwerp became their new season with a 1-1 draw against Union Saint-Gilloise.
The goalkeeper of Man United can be somewhat facilitated with Onana, because they keep an eye on his recovery last week during the club's American tour.
Amorim's side will perform their preparations for the Premier League season with a friendly against Bournemouth on Thursday.
The Red Devils are then confronted on Sunday with Everton and Fiorentina in Old Trafford the next week while building the new season.
