Man Utd team-mates in furious on-pitch argument at final whistle

MANCHESTER UNITED stars Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo appeared to have a heated argument after beating Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.

Hojlund, 21, orchestrated United's comeback win as his brace led to a 2-1 win at the Doosan Arena after Matej Vydra took advantage of another howl from goalkeeper Andre Onana to open the scoring.

But all didn't seem to be going so well during full-time as the forward and 22-year-old Amad got into a shouting match as the two teams prepared to go through the tunnel.

Their row could have been sparked by the Ivory Coast international's failure to get to Hojlund and give him the chance to score his first Man Utd hat-trick.

Later reports suggested it was over that the two players were unhappy at not passing to each other in two late breaks.

And the row couldn't wait until the locker room as tensions erupted while the cameras were still live.

Hojlund equalized for the Red Devils after 62 minutes, just six minutes after coming on in the second half.

And the Denmark international turned the game on its head two minutes from time to give the Manchester giants their first away win in the Europa League this season.

United's players celebrated passionately in a much more positive image than the one shown at full-time.

However, Amorim praised the pair, the visitors' best players, during his post-match press conference

The Portuguese tactician even described the line as “perfect”.

Amorim, when asked if he was aware of the incident, said: “Yes, and for me it is perfect.

'We have to feel something, right now we have to feel something.

“When we have to fight each other, it's like a family. For me it's a very, very good sign. We have to feel something and that is important.

“If you don't care, you don't do anything. If you do care, you fight with your brother, with your mother, with your father. For me it's a very good sign.

“It's normal, it's something positive, something healthy, so I allow the players and the captain [Bruno Fernandes] to calm things down.

“If I think it's too much, I go to the dressing room, but that's their space. They have to talk, fight and for me that's very important.

“I'm happy that we win the match and still fight with each other. That's a very good thing.

“If you win and fight with your teammate because you want to score one more, then for me it's a very good day for us.”
