Manchester United has been told that the signing of Emiliano Martinez of Aston Villa would be sufficient to secure a top five finish, and a place in the Champions League
Manchester United is advised that they can protect a top-five finish by making a crucial signature there; Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Ruben Amorim has been working hard to reform his team this summer after a faint first season in the Premier League.
The attacking bravery of United has improved considerably with the signs of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko. Brighton star Carlos Baleba is also on the Radar of United because they want to strengthen their midfield options.
However, Amorim is still confronted with a mystery in goal because he is trying to competition in the current No. 1 keeper Andre Onana. The Cameroonian was united's pre-season because of a hamstring injury and was guilty of various controversial blunders in the past term.
Paris Saint-Germain's Gianluigi Donnarumma has been advertised as a potential addition to Old Trafford. However, the French newspaper L'Equipe reports that an agreement has already been reached between him and the local Rivals Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola who apparently forces a move to United, even though he has already reduced James Trafford from Burnley this summer.
Former and Wrexham-Shot stopper Ben Foster has now encouraged his former club to revise their attention to the signing of Villas Martinez. A loan switch for the Argentinian was previously mentioned in the transfer window and was reportedly rejected by Villa.
Foster thinks he could be the crucial component to help United to protect a top five finish this season, which would now guarantee them that they would guarantee Champions League football for the subsequent campaign.
Speaking at his Fozcast podcast, he said: “United has a better chance to do it this year. I love the transfer window of United. I think it took them and changed them by having a new disappointment of a season of a season to really compete as a competitive besides Newcastle and Villa.
“I think if United starts well, they can finish fifth this season. If they bring in another keeper, and if EMI Martinez has signed for Man United, they end this season as fifth.”
Martinez was worried among Villa supporters that he was ready to leave the club after what seemed to be an emotional farewell at the end of last season. When he left the field after the last home game of the campaign, he gestured in tears to the fans before he left the field.
Villa is supposed to have informed United that it would require an exceptional offer of around £ 40 million to renounce their first choice. Last month the athletics reported that the club Martinez would not pursue any further because of the asking price and substantial wage requirements.
In the meantime, the former Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos has suggested that United should consider signing internal goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
“I think Yann Sommer is a very, very experienced player and a calming presence,” Senderos told Boylesports. “He makes the defense better because of that presence.
“I can't really judge Andre Onana in this situation, but if United would focus on Yann Sommer, I would really believe he would add invaluable experience.
“It's about how he is as a person, how he stands on the field. He is a great character and great in what he brings for a defense. We saw it the year before with Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.”
