AC Milan is in conversation with Manchester United about the signing of striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Milan wants to conclude a loan agreement with an option to buy, but the preference of United is to do a permanent deal – or at least have a permanent element on each loan.
They would consider offers from around £ 40 million for the 22-year-old Denmark International.
Benjamin Sesko's £ 73.7 million arrival of RB Leipzig will probably limit Hojlund's playing time for United if he stays if he stays.

The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract with Old Trafford, in which Man Utd pays an initial £ 66.26 million (€ 76.5 million) with £ 7.36 million (€ 8.5 million) in performance-related add-ons.
Sesko is the third attacker to arrive in Old Trafford this summer after Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, who cost a combined £ 207.2 million.
