Manchester United looks at a movement for Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford after he has already completed a deal for Matheus Cunha this summer, while Ruben Amorim wants to strengthen his team
It was a busy start of the transfer window for Manchester United. And maybe it should not be a surprise after a gloomy season 2024/25.
Ruben Amorim has already added Matheus Cunha to their team after activating his £ 62.5 million release clause and now United Look is set to land another Premier League star. Bryan Mbeumo, fresh from packing 20 goals for Brentford, wants to make the movement while the Red Devils go further after they have missed Liam Delap.
It's not all just sailing, because the future of Bruno Fernandes sees a lot of speculation. The Portuguese star, however, has rejected a move to the Saudi Pro League.
However, the club hopes to facilitate outputs for Marcus Rashford and Antony. And Jadon Sancho will probably also be on the list of exits in the coming months.
Mirror Football takes a look at the latest news and the rumors about Old Trafford.
Mbeumo 'verbal agreement'
The news broke on Monday evening that Bryan Mbeumo preferred a move to Manchester United above Newcastle and Arsenal, and it does not seem that the attacker has an agreement with the Red Devils prior to a movement.
Sky in Germany reports that Mbeumo has entered into a verbal dedication to the club and United is 'optimistic' to get a deal about the line with Brentford. It is said that negotiations between clubs will start to complete a deal.
United Monitor Donnarumma
Manchester United belongs to a handful of clubs that guard Gianluigi Donnarumma. The star of Paris Saint-Germain continues to see contract discussions that go through with the winners of the Champions League.
Fresh of playing in PSG's Triumphant Champions League campaign, which saw a 5-0 thrashing from Inter Milan in the final, seems to be the future of Donnarumma in the air. The 26-year-old contract will expire next summer.
There have already been discussions about an extension and the club has submitted a proposal. Foot Mercato, however, reveals via GFFN that Donnarumma has a lot of admirers among the European elite and they are Lurkin in the event that the Shot stopper chooses to sign a new deal.
United belongs to those clubs and a relocation for Donnarumma would appeal, since there are still doubts about Andre Onana after another mixed season for the Cameroon star.
Sancho Deal falls in
Chelsea will pay Manchester United £ 5 million after he has not reached an agreement to make the loan movement of Jadon Sancho permanent. Sancho on loan the season with Stamford Bride and the blues were obliged to make the deal permanent after the higher than 14th in the Premier League.
But the West -Londen side did have a warning in the deal, which would enable them to fill themselves in on that dedication provided that they cough a sense of £ 5 million. That will happen now.
Chelsea would like to retain the services of Sancho, but could not reach an agreement with the winger. The blues did not want to match the salary he earned in United.
