The last hours of the transfer window are underway and Manchester United is set to be active when the clock marks.
The Red Devils presented Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven to their fans on Sunday afternoon when the young couple from Lecce and Arsenal, respectively, arrived to strengthen Ruben Amorim's team. With Marcus Rashford at Aston Villa on loan, it was a busy weekend for the club's transfer team.
It is unlikely that their work will be over, because the future of Mathys Tel in Bayern Munich will remain unsolved. The teenager Vooruit is looking for more playing time with the interest of Manchester United and Arsenal who starts the last day, but a deal looks difficult for the 13-meal Premier League champions.
There are certainly more turns and turns before the day is out. Mirror Football takes a look at some of the transfer news and rumors around the club.
Mathys Tel Twist
On Sunday Tel Manchester United saw the club where he wanted to spend the rest of the season in his search for minutes. The Red Devils were in negotiations with Bayern in the hope of agreeing a deal to take the teenager to Old Trafford.
However, only a few hours after the decision was made, reports claimed that a deal had collapsed. Sky in Germany claims that no agreement can be reached with the German giants who reject the United's proposals insofar as a deal was unable to be agreed before the end of the window.
Bayern would prefer a permanent relocation or loan with an obligation to buy the player. Arsenal and a number of other clubs are still in the fight to sign Tel. The preference of the gunners is a deal with a kind of obligation.
Harry Kane Advies
United would have considered itself well to complete a movement, as an excellent candidate to offer count minutes after the Bayern Ace Tottenham had rejected. Arsenal can be an attractive proposition because they want to compete in the Premier League and Champions League, but will see a greater competition for a space in their starting XI, especially on the return of Bukayo Saka.
Bayern teammate Harry Kane even had his say about the prospects of Tel and complimented the young person. The captain of England said that the playing time should be given priority by the former Rennes-Jongeer.
“Mathys is a great young player,” he said. “I worked with him for 18 months. He has a lot of potential, works and trains hard. He can still improve, but he has the right mindset. My advice is where he goes, he must ensure that he gets play time and experience . “
Last-minute deal?
A last-minute deal can still arrive for Alejandro Garnacho, by transferero Fabrizio Romano. Chelsea continues to intervene in signing the Argentinian winger, although no negotiations were underway.
Last month the representatives of Garnacho were present at Stamford Bridge, but the 20-year-old has since maintained his presence in Amorim's selection plans. Despite no advanced negotiations, Romano claims, Chelsea could still decide to make a move, although the player could stay in Old Trafford on Sunday without a proposal.
Christopher Nunku has also been reported to be a united target. After they seem to fail in their attempt to land count, there is still a chance for Chelsea and the Red Devils to have conversations.
