Man Utd transfer news: PSG star ‘wants’ Red Devils move as Marcus Rashford exit talks held

The January transfer window is already in full swing, but the coming weeks could be very busy for Manchester United.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has put the majority of the Red Devils squad up for sale, which could lead to a number of exits. That could be Marcus Rashford, who has already expressed his desire to leave.

Any sale could alleviate the club's PSR concerns and lead to more signings. A whole series of names have already been linked together.

Understandably, boss Ruben Amorim is keen to make additions as he tries to get the club back on track. Check out the latest transfer news and rumors from Old Trafford here:

Paris Saint-Germain defender Nuno Mendes is keen to move to Manchester United as his future in the French capital is in serious doubt. According to Foot Mercato, the Portuguese left back is concerned about his contract.

He only has 18 months left on his current contract and is not completely satisfied with his salary. He is 'really looking forward' to reuniting with his former Sporting Lisbon head coach Amorim.

Mendes, still just 22, played 47 games under his compatriot ahead of a move to the French capital. He was initially loaned out to PSG, before making a permanent move a year later.

Italian side AC Milan are in talks in a bid to sign Marcus Rashford in January. The striker's future at Old Trafford remains uncertain.

Dwaine Maynard, Rashford's brother and agent, reportedly flew to Milan on Tuesday to hold talks with those in charge of Serie A recruitment.

Milan's senior executive team had earlier returned from Riyadh after winning the Italian Super Cup against fierce rivals Inter Milan. Rashford, 27, has three and a half years left on his United deal.

While Rashford could be ready for the exit door, the same can certainly be said of Brazilian winger Antony. United have long accepted that they would have to cut their losses on the Brazilian.

According to ABC Sevilla, Real Betis, Olympiakos and Benfica are all interested. The ex-Ajax player has already rejected a move to Greece, but a move to Spain remains a possibility.

It is suggested that Betis' sale of Assane Diao's to Como has opened up funds as they hope to convince the winger to move to Spain. Meanwhile, they are also willing to negotiate a sell-on fee for United after a move.
