RUBEN AMORIM may have to break the bank to land a real goalscorer at Old Trafford.
Manchester United's new boss is desperate for the money Sir Jim Ratcliffe will give him in January.
Someone who consistently puts the ball in the back of the net will be at the top of Amorim's shopping list.
After the transfer window opened last week, four key targets have emerged. We ran the numbers to figure out which one would be the best fit.
SunSport has exclusively revealed that Marcus Rashford is at the center of a stunning swap deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The 26-year-old Nigerian is scoring goals for fun after his unexpected move to Galatasaray in the summer.
Osimhen moved to Turkey after failing to seal a move to Chelsea or the Saudi Pro League on deadline day after attempting to leave Naples.
He has scored thirteen goals in sixteen games this season and has averaged 0.79 goals per 90 minutes since the start of last season.
And United could get Osimhen for just £62million this month thanks to a release clause in his contract, although he will demand sky-high wages.

Gyokeres, who left Coventry for Lisbon in 2023, has scored 30 goals in 28 appearances this season, with Arsenal also interested.
The 26-year-old ranks first overall in eight of our ten stats, including goals, touches and expected goals per 90 minutes.
The Swede has the best goal conversion rate of all four Man Utd strikers, hitting the back of the net on average once every 89 minutes since the start of last season.
But United will have to fork over more than £70million to sign him from Sporting.
The Red Devils have also identified Paris Saint-Germain star Randal Kolo Muani as a possible answer to their lack of goals.
Kolo Muani is also a 26-year-old player who has scored 11 goals in 54 games since joining the French side from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023.
A loan deal could be in prospect with the frontman who is under contract with PSG until 2028, but who still needs playing time.
The France international, who moved to the Parc des Princes just 16 months ago for £77 million, has scored twice in just 14 appearances this season.

Kolo Muani's stats are less impressive than those of Osimhen and Gyokeres, as he only ranks first overall for assists per 90 minutes since the start of last season.
The latest name on Amorim's shortlist is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, with Serie A reportedly considering a shock swap deal that would see Joshua Zirkzee return to Italy.
The Dutchman has had a difficult first six months at Old Trafford following his £36.5million move from Bologna.
He was booed by large sections of the home fans after Amorim had him removed within 33 minutes of United's 2–0 defeat to Newcastle.
Vlahovic only has eighteen months left on his contract.
United have suffered their worst ever start to a Premier League season, despite earning around £206m in the summer window under former boss Erik ten Hag.
Club legend Gary Neville even argued that his former club is the “worst pound-for-pound team in the country”.
And Amorim knows he will have to spend this month wisely, as there will be only limited resources available.
Rashford has not played in the six games since, as United sit 13th in the Prem after the well-deserved 2-2 draw at Anfield.
The 27-year-old has been offered the chance to become the highest-paid English player in history by clubs in Saudi Arabia, more than doubling his £315,000 weekly salary to £675,000.
That £35m-a-year offer is almost 70 per cent more than the £400,000-a-week England skipper Harry Kane, 31, earns at Bayern Munich.
Three Saudi clubs have made offers, but Rashford wants to stay in Europe to fight for his place in the England squad.
