Al Hilal is interested in signing Bruno Fernandes, but plans to sign him are currently not advanced.
However, that could change because Saudi Pro League side is already playing in the Club World Cup next month and can sign players during a special early transfer window between June 1 and June 10.
Fernandes is an important player at United. Head coach Ruben Amorim has called his captain one of the best players in the world and he is not for sale.
Fernandes is already on a list of players Hilal Targeting while they are preparing to represent Saudi Arabia in the new extensive tournament in the United States next month.
They are in a group with Real Madrid, Pachuca and RB Salzburg and their opening match is against Real Madrid in Miami on June 18.
They currently have former Premier League players such as Ruben Neves, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Khalidou Koulibaly in their team.
Fernandes will be 31 in September. Last summer he signed a new United contract with the option of another year until 2027.
United drew him from Sport in January 2020 in a deal with a value of a maximum of £ 68 million.
Fernandes wants to stay in United, but he admitted last night that his future could be uncertain.
“I always said that I will be here until the club tells me it's time to go,” Fernandes said. “I would like to do more to be able to take the club to great days.
“On the day the club thinks I'm too much or it's time to separate, football is that way, you never know. But I have always said it and I keep my word in the same way.
“If the club thinks it's time to separate because they want to do some money or whatever, it's what it is, and football is sometimes so.”
Sky Sports to show 215 Live PL games next season
From next season, the Premier League coverage of Sky Sports will increase from 128 games to at least 215 games that are exclusively live.
And 80 percent of all Premier League matches broadcast on television will be on Sky Sports next season.
