It is said that Manchester United is interested in Morten Hjulmand, but the midfielder grew up like a big fan of Rivals Arsenal and even has a tattoo of their badge on his arm in the top left arm
Manchester United was associated this summer with a move for Morten Hjulmand, where the sports captain is considered a potential alternative to Carlos Baleba. Hjulmand, however, grew up as a fan of Rivals Arsenal and even tattooed the club's insignia on his left arm.
United has so far spent great attacks, so Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha came in, while Brighton star Baleba appeared as the top goal of Ruben Amorim.
However, the seagulls want more than £ 100 million for Baleba and United would have cooled their interest. This has led them to see a movement for Hjulmand, who knows Amorim well from his time the leadership of the sport.
This is despite his love for Arsenal, in which Hjulmand told the Portuguese Outlet record last year: “My father supported Arsenal and we watched games together when we were younger.”
It was Amorim who signed Hjulmand for sports in 2023 and the Denmark International praised the impact on his career. Speaking after Amorim sports for United, Hjulmand said: “It was also difficult for me to hear.
“I was sad that Ruben leaves me and is going to sport. It is a great opportunity. I hope Ruben is proud of himself for getting an offer like this.
“Of course Ruben was one of the reasons why I came to the sport. If you work with Ruben, you see a clear picture. That was important when I came to Sporting – first to understand how he plays.
“The way he also manages the team in the field and outside the field is not like me that I have seen in my short career. I think Manchester [United] Are in good hands with Ruben. “
It is still to be seen whether Hjulmand will reunite with Amorim at Old Trafford and the United Boss has previously insisted that he is happy with his existing midfield options. “I am really happy with our players,” said Amorim.
“They work very well, we have different players for that position, so we are willing to win a game with our players. Maybe Mason Mount is a player I think it can play in that position if we want something else.
'But then we're going to figure it out [during] The season. We have players to cope with games in the Premier League. “
