Manchester United was associated this summer with a move for Morten Hjulmand, where the sports captain is considered a potential alternative to Carlos Baleba. Hjulmand, however, grew up as a fan of Rivals Arsenal and even tattooed the club's insignia on his left arm.

It is still to be seen whether Hjulmand will reunite with Amorim at Old Trafford and the United Boss has previously insisted that he is happy with his existing midfield options. “I am really happy with our players,” said Amorim.
“They work very well, we have different players for that position, so we are willing to win a game with our players. Maybe Mason Mount is a player I think it can play in that position if we want something else.
