Manchester United and Baas Ruben Amorim have been fired over the rather silly transfer activity of the club and for passing on ex-Arsenale goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who joined Newcastle
Former Arsenal -striker Charlie Nicholas beat Manchester United this summer during their transfer trade. The Scotsman believes that people as new Gunners star Christian Norgaard and Newcastle Shot stopper Aaron Ramsdale should have been pursued.
The side of Ruben Amorim has so far added two attacking weapons in the form of £ 62.5 million Matheus Cunha and £ 71 million Bryan Mbeumo. Teen left back Diego Leon has been their only other takeover.
A movement for a striker is similar to the cards with Benjamin Sesko, also a target for the Magpies, which is priority no. 1 for the Red Devils. Nevertheless, Nicholas, who played more than 175 times for Arsenal, has transformed the club for what he thinks is a sub-par recruitment round and wonders why Ramsdale was not viewed.
“There are many players who are there, a whole list that I think would be better than what Manchester United currently has,” exclaimed Nicholas Sky Bet. “I just don't know where they see themselves.”
Nicholas then raised questions about two players who have set movements this summer for reimbursements that the bank would not break: Norgaard, who arrived at the Emirates in July for £ 12 million, and Ramsdale, who came to Newcastle from Southhapston last week.
“If I was Manchester United, why didn't they go to Christian Norgaard? It seems that they have been waiting for two controversial players,” Nicholas continued.
“But I look at them and I think, why no longer add players such as Norgaard, or players who played well in Bournemouth and Newcastle, you could disturb things and see who is interested.
“There are so many pillars that I just can't understand, the whole lack of authority Defensive and what is the current situation with the goalkeeper?
“Why are they not going to get Aaron Ramsdale? He is qualified, he knows the circuit, he is English, experienced and competitive. I know that Ramsdale has not won too much, but it is not far from what United has won.
“I just don't see how they see what an upgrade means. I don't see fans of Manchester United showing a bit of excitement as it looks now, and it will be in the neighborhood for them to become aggressive again opposite the club.”
Securing the services of a new star between the sticks is probably on the Old Trafford agenda this summer after Andre Onana had sustained the last time -out an undersized campaign.
Aston Villa No. 1 EMI Martinez looks destined to say goodbye to Villa Park, but a proposal for the loan for the Argentinian was reportedly rejected last month. Head coach Amorim was asked about the prospect to sign a new goalkeeper before the window closes, and did not reign the proposition.
“To Hope is a strong word,” Amorim replied when he was asked if he hoped to bring in a new keeper or striker. “We always want to improve the team. And we have some characteristics that we would like to have. But again, it depends on the market. It depends on the sale. We will see.”
