Kevin De Bruyne played a leading role when Manchester City came from 2-0 to beat Crystal Palace 5-2 in the Etihad Stadium.
The captain of the citizens – who confirmed last week that he will leave the club at the end of the season – took a goal and an assist when they raised their hope for Champions League qualification.
Goals from Ebereechi Eze and Chris Richards brought Palace to the Rijstoel halfway through the first half, although the 25-Yard free kick of De Bruyne City Hope gave.
Omar Marmoush drilled home to drag the city level before the break, and the Pep Guardiola team then perhaps produced their best performance of the season in the second half.
Mateo Kovacic shot in from the edge of the box to bring it 3-2, after which James Mcatee held the Ederson's search card to Round Dean Henderson for City's Fourth.
Colleague young Nico O'Reilly saw a volley bend to add some shine to the victory of the city, while Palace suffered their first defeat in 11 away Premier League matches.
With Newcastle United and Chelsea who only played on Sunday, City benefited to go to the fourth above them, while Oliver Glasner's side remains 11th.

Debrief data: De Bruyne inspires Stadurnaround
This only meant the third time in the history of the Premier League who won a side with a margin of three goals despite finding out two goals, after Manchester United and Arsenal both had achieved the performance against Tottenham in April 2009 and February 2012 respectively.
Not only that, but this was the first league match that the city had won after a backlog with two or more goals since they defeated Spurs 4-2 in January 2023.
Ironically, the last time that Palace lost a Premier League match when it also led by two or more goals against the city in the Etihad in August 2022.
De Bruyne led to the revival of City with his 30th Premier League goal from outside the penalty area and became the sixth player who reached that count.
And after making up Kovacic, the Belgian has now scored and helped in 28 different Premier League matches, with only Mohamed Salah (42), Wayne Rooney (36), Thierry Henry (32) and Alan Shearer (31) who do this more often in the history of the competition.
In the meantime, Ederson claimed his fourth league assistance of the season with his excellent diagonal ball to McATee, who scored in his first start in the division.
Ederson's Assist was the eighth by a goalkeeper in 2024-25, the joint possibilities in a single season in the competition together with 1992-93 and 2007-08.
